Estuarine/Marine Indicator Results
Monthly water quality and biological monitoring was conducted in 18 estuaries (168 sites) and Moreton Bay (86 sites) from July 2009 to June 2010. The Estuarine and Marine Report Card grade is calculated by combining an Ecosystem Health Index (EHI) and a Biological Health Rating (BHR) to produce a single value of ecosystem health. Assessments were conducted by staff of the Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM).
