The South East Queensland Healthy Waterways Partnership is proud to host the annual Healthy Waterways Awards. The Awards provide recognition and reward for outstanding waterway health projects in South East Queensland.

There are nine Award categories open to individuals, community groups and organisations who are working towards achieving healthy waterways. Each entrant has the chance to win a share in $23,500 prize money with the most innovative of all category winners receiving the Minister’s Grand Prize worth $10,000. Check out the 2010 winners and finalists.

Winners are announced at a celebratory Awards dinner that provides a fantastic networking opportunity and the chance to celebrate some impressive achievements. See the social photos from the 2010 Awards ceremony.

Each year, the Awards receive extensive media interest resulting in numerous published media articles. This year, winners were also profiled in a television feature on Channel 7’s program The Great South East.

The South East Queensland Healthy Waterways Partnership gratefully acknowledges the support received from sponsors of the Awards each year.
