Healthy Waterways, in partnership with the Pullenvale Environmental Education Centre, have launched ‘Up the Creek & Down the Drain’, a new education unit that takes a creative-arts approach (called a Storythread) to educate school students about water litter.

This approach to environmental education uses exciting stories about people and their strong connections to place. ‘Up the Creek & Down the Drain’ is based on Ithaca Creek (but is easily adapted to any local waterway) and tells the story of three children and an environmental disaster.
