Healthy Country Launch event
The Honourable Tim Mulherin MP, Minister for Primary Industries, Fisheries and Rural and Regional Queensland officially launched the Healthy Country project on Wednesday 23 September.
The launch was held on the property of Lloyd Tilbury in Rosevale who is a champion for the Healthy Country project and is actively involved in undertaking rehabilitation work on his property.
Following the Healthy Country launch ceremony, site visits to current projects within the Bremer focal area were conducted which provided an opportunity for the Minister and local landholders to discuss projects associated with stream rehabilitation, improved production practices and gully remediation.
