Our Structure
Shown below is a diagram of the structure of the Partnership and a detailed description of it's components.
Policy Council

The Policy Council is chaired by the Minister for Environment and provides broad policy and program facilitation, direction and reporting.  Membership is representative of key stakeholder groups and is broadly catchment based.

Policy Council Board
The Board is a subset of the Policy Council and provides administrative and strategic direction to the Secretariat.
CEO's Committee
The CEO's Committee is an inter-agency group of chief executive officers from State and local government agencies, with relevant portfolios or mayoral represenation on Policy Council or Implementation Groups.  The Committee's role is to enable, facilitate, coordinate and integrate implemention of programs.  Industry CEOs are also represented.
Scientific and Technical Advisory Group
The Scientific and Advisory Group provides comprehensive scientific research based independent advice relevant to managaement needs and underpins management actions.  Scientific Expert Panels (SEP) are established as needed to address specific issues.  At present, these comprise the: Core SEP; Lyngbya SEP; Extractive Industry SEP; and the Modelling Advisory Panel.
Traditional Owner Advisory Group
The Traditional Owner Advisory Group comprises 16 Aboriginal elders or their representatives drawn from the Traditional Owners across the SEQ region. This group provides advice on issues associated with implementation as well as providing a point of contact for indigenous people to raise issues, provide feedback and disseminate relevant information through their networks.
Community and Industry Advisory Group
The Community and Industry Advisory Group (CIAG) provides non-government sector advice and assistance and input to the Partnership from a community and industry perspective.  The Group also maintains contact with stakeholder networks such as Landcare and ICM groups.  The CIAG forms working groups for particular purposes, or to serve particular stakeholder interests such as the Extractive Industries Working Groups.
Implementation Groups

Five sub-regional Implementation Groups have been established across the SEQ region.  These groups typically involve Local Government Mayors, Traditional Owners, catchment/landcare groups, industry groups, corporations, environment groups and state government agencies.
